Seeing God in the World He Made

Vineyard Kids Family Camping Retreat 2024

Our first-ever family retreat!

Join Vineyard Kids for a two-day family retreat at Burnidge Forest Preserve — with an option to camp at Paul Wolff Campground or sleep at home and rejoin the group Saturday morning!

Retreat activities will include outdoor games, worship and free time to relax and connect with God and others. This retreat is open to families with kids of all ages, and at least one parent/guardian must attend. Parents are responsible for supervising their kids during the retreat.

The registration cost covers retreat materials, a hot dog dinner on Friday night, and a barbecue lunch on Saturday. Breakfast will be on your own. The cost varies, depending on how many family members attend. Click on the blue registration button to get the prices and to register.

We have reserved a number of campsites together in a cluster. These are “primitive," non-electric, walk-up tent sites, which are more private and wooded. The cost is $18, and each site can accommodate up to two tents. You can reserve one of these campsites when you fill out the retreat registration form. The campsites are a 12-minute walk or 4-minute drive from the picnic shelter where we will hold our group sessions and have meals together.

If you would like a drive-up, electric campsite, please reserve that on your own by clicking here. The cost for these sites is $26 for Kane County residents, and you’ll want to do this ASAP. Reserve a campsite toward the back of Paul Wolff Campground if you want to be near the rest of the group.
