Missions Connect

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.     Matthew 28:19

Connecting all peoples to the Father's Heart

Missions Connect is for everyone who is interested in outreach. This group meets for lunch on the third Sunday of the month, and there's always a speaker or other special focus on what the Lord is doing around the world. Anyone can attend this lunch meeting; please bring a dish to pass.

The Missions Committee is a group of six who oversee the financial aspects of our missions program, plan mission trips, keep in touch with the missionaries supported by our church and help keep us in prayer for them. In 2024, the committee is seeking the Lord to discern his intentions for this ministry. Please pray for understanding of where He may be leading and wisdom in how to follow.

Mission Trips

We hope to be able to resume mission trips again soon. In recent years we've been to Colombia (twice), Puerto Rico and Mexico. It's been our joy to offer a Father's Heart Conference and engage in ministry with street kids and others who need the hope that only Jesus can bring!

Where Our Support Goes

It is our privilege to partner with missionaries on three continents and also with mission workers and organizations serving as the hands and feet of Jesus in our own community.
In Colombia, we're involved with a thriving ministry that offers an elementary day school for the children of Medellin and a Bible school/ministry training for young adults. The community benefits from the many outreaches conducted by students in the Bible school.
In Cote d'Ivoire, we help support a national pastor who is planting churches.
In Kenya, we support a couple from our own church family who supply food, water and spiritual nourishment in an area of extreme poverty, crime and corruption, always seeking to help people move toward self-sustainability.
We also have a stake in missions in India. On a local level, we partner financially with Fox Valley Christian Action and Courtside Ministries, a national ministry based in Chicago.
