The Heart of the Older Son

The character of the older son in the prodigal parable is a reflection of many of us in the Church. Trying to live as "good Christians," we build our identity as faithful workers for God. But that's not at all what He desires. Tim fleshes out the older brother for us, invites us to look in a mirror, and encourages us to consider the identity that the Father really offers us: sonship.
