God loves to empower kids! Convinced of this truth, our youth group is known as 220. Why? Because a 220-volt electrical circuit, more powerful than an ordinary 110, reminds us that we're amped up on God's love and powered by His Spirit. Discovering all that is available to us as Christ-followers jolts us into living our lives with meaning.
If you're in middle school or high school, 220 is for you. Finding out His purpose for us is electrifying! Join us as we seek Him together.
Sunday nights, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at the church—be sure to use the alley entrance for pick-up and drop-off.
We hang out (games and food!), and we pursue the Lord together. We worship, search the Scriptures and pray for each other. As we learn to allow Holy Spirit to charge and recharge our spiritual batteries, we also learn to let His life-giving, life-changing current flow through us to others.
"220" also references Galatians 2:20, which proclaims, "My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (NLT)
Besides that, 220 also happens to be Vineyard’s street number on Division Street!
