Picnics in the Park

Outdoor gatherings after church

We're taking our after-church fellowship to the park! Now that the outdoors is warming to Spring, our church has a standing reservation at Lords Park for a couple of hours after the Sunday service — every other week. This gives us the chance to connect and reconnect with each other in a safe environment. Masking is optional.

This is not a potluck meal. Please bring your own picnic lunch, chairs and whatever else you may need. We're using the open-air shelters at Lords Park, and everyone is welcome!

You may already know the West Shelter — that's the shady spot at the top of a small hill where we enjoyed some wonderful church picnics in 2017 and 2019. The playground there is being renovated, so we'll be using the East Shelter until it's done. Both shelters have public restrooms and a playground nearby,  and they are within walking distance of the Lords Park Zoo.

Remember, bring your own:
Picnic lunch
Chairs or blankets
Outdoor games
