Great food, great conversation & talks that make you think

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, built around a meal, a talk and a group discussion. The Alpha series is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome to attend—no church affiliation necessary.

The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. They explore the big issues of faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith?

Possibly the most important part of Alpha is what comes after the talk: the chance to share your thoughts on the topic and simply discuss it in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything, and there’s nothing you can’t say. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

Sounds good, right? This fall, Elgin Vineyard will be offering two Alpha small groups:

Tuesday Alpha  |  6:30-9 pm  |  Sept. 3-Nov. 12  |  Meal included
Friday Alpha  |  5:15-6:15 pm  |  Sept. 6-Nov. 15  |  After meeting, participants join Street Reach for meal

All meetings are in the Chapel; please use the front entrance of the office wing.

Registration is necessary by Sept. 1; please click on Sign Up to Attend.
If you would like to serve by providing a meal for one of the Tuesday night sessions, there's a link here for that, too.
